, , , are built on and with, words.
How we express ourselves, our emotions - reflections of fears,
recounting of events.
this part of the site, and this blog, which will, by design possibly have contributing
writers, is somewhat of an experiment.
a question worth posing then might be, who is to judge, the experiments' success?
to that, we, do not as yet have an answer.
as myself, a longtime blogger, in and about the world of design and design elements,
a perpetual concern, an ongoing discontent was simply that readers - rarely
responded, seemingly rarely engaged.
begs the question then - is that because the topicality was not relevant enough to the reader base?
quite possibly
or might it be simply a general lack of confidence expressed as, perhaps,
'what's the point?''
valid, that
what is the point?
writers write about many things - all worlds are theirs simply by the writer asserting her/his ownership, or right to ownership, of any topic.

truth be told, there is no rule that a writer who devotes a great deal of their time/energy to writing about political events cannot, if so inclined, switch their efforts to poetry.
Given of course, some level of appropriate ability thereto.
our efforts here are ambitious - perhaps naievly so - time, will tell
but, aside from my ramblings/offerings, on another day you might well find commentary
written by Anni Walsh. Or by Jen deLeskie. Or by whomever.
and we will honour and respect their voices and their right to this, our platform
so, famous last words
